Carey Mulligan in Roland Mouret

I love this Roland Mouret dress that Carey Mulligan wore to the London Film Critics Circle Awards. It was one of my favorite pieces shown in his Spirng/Summer collection. I also really like the pair of blue shoes she choose. It was a bit unexpected but I think she pulled off the whole look.

Red Carpet: 69th Golden Globe Awards

Here are the ladies who made my best dressed list at the Golden Globes. In my opinion the best dressed of the night had to be Tilda Swinton who looked amazing in Haider Ackermann. Angelina Jolie looked every inch the movie star she is in a Versace gown. Nicole Kidman, also in Versace choose a surprisingly sexy number. As for Charlize, in the wrong angle, her gown can look weird but I actually like it. Julianne, Emma, Evan Rachel, and Claire also made my list.

Pencil Skirts & Fitted Belts at Pre-Fall 2012

Belts have been all over Pre-Fall 2012. I think Celine's Spring collection has been very influential when it comes to this trend. From big belts seen at Michael Kors to the skinny belt seen at Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti. Although I personally don't like many trends and tend to stick to a more timeless style I really like this one. I like that the belt can give your body a more feminine figure. Another look I love are the pencil skirts seen at Derek Lam, Nina Ricci, and Balenciaga. Here I put together a few images that show how various designers styled the pencil skirts and belts.

Red Carpet: Charlize Theron

Charlize Theron is promoting her latest film "Young Adult." And has been hitting the red carpet in fabulous outfits. I really like the sexy black Lanvin dress and the green Reed Krakoff dress is gorgeous. As for the movie I can't wait to see it!

More Color for Pre-Fall 2012

Although red has to be the dominant color for Pre-Fall blue and green were seen throughout the collections. I absolutely love the pleated skirt shown at DKNY and the flow of the Rachel Zoe dress. Not to mention the femininity of the Doo. Ri dress. But I liked so many different looks I put them together below.

Red was the color that kept popping up when I was going through the Pre-Fall 2012 collections. I really like the draped dresses shown at Alexander Wang and Donna Karan. And the Zac Posen dress will most likely be worn by a starlet on the red carpet. Here I put together a few more of my favorite looks.

The Dolce & Gabbana Spring/Summer ads are so beautiful I just had to post them. They feature an array of people including Italian actress Monica Belucci and model Bianca Balti. I loved their Spring collection and think the ad's capture the clothing perfectly. Plus I love the family oriented concept the photos have.
